Welcome to ByteCast. By accessing or using our mobile or web application, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the ByteCast platform.

1. Use of the Service

ByteCast is a generative audio application that transforms written and real-time content into podcast-style audio episodes. The app is intended for educational and informational purposes. You agree not to misuse the service or access it using unauthorized methods.

2. Account and Access

You cannot use ByteCast without an account. Features (such as Pro access, downloads, or saved episodes) require authentication. You are responsible for any activity that occurs under your usage and must ensure it complies with these Terms.

3. Subscription & Payment

ByteCast offers both free and Pro subscription plans. Payments are handled via third-party services. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges according to your selected plan. We reserve the right to modify our pricing or plan benefits with prior notice.

4. AI-Generated Content

All content generated through ByteCast (summaries, audio, transcripts, flashcards, etc.) is produced using artificial intelligence and is provided "as is." We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or factual correctness. Users should verify information before relying on it.

5. Data & Privacy

ByteCast is privacy-first. We store minimal user data and never collect or sell personal information without consent. Any data (such as usage limits, preferences, summaries, or audio) is stored securely and used solely to improve your experience.

6. Usage Limits

ByteCast enforces usage limits for free and Pro users. Attempting to bypass these limits via technical means is a violation of these Terms and may result in suspension.

7. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, branding, and application code are the property of ByteCast or its licensors. You may not copy, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the service without explicit permission.

8. Feedback and Early Access

As an early user, you may be invited to provide feedback. By submitting feedback, you grant us the right to use it to improve ByteCast without compensation or obligation.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to ByteCast at any time, with or without cause, particularly if you breach these Terms.

10. Changes to Terms

These Terms may be updated occasionally. Material changes will be communicated through the app. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
